Combination Brows

Combination Brows is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo technique that blends the precision of hair-like strokes with the soft shading of powder brows. This method creates a natural yet defined look, perfect for those who want the realism of microblading with the added fullness and depth of shading.

It’s ideal for clients who:

  • Have sparse brows and want more density

  • Desire a natural yet slightly “made-up” brow look

  • Have skin types less suited to microblading alone (such as oily or mature skin)

How it Works

Consultation – Your artist will assess your natural brows, skin type, and desired look. Together, you’ll choose a brow shape, style, and pigment colour that best suits your face.

Mapping & Numbing – Brows are carefully mapped out for symmetry, and a topical anesthetic is applied to minimise discomfort.

Hair Strokes – Fine, precise strokes are created at the front of the brow to mimic natural hairs.

Shading – A digital machine adds soft shading throughout the body and tail of the brows, blending seamlessly with the strokes.

Final Touches – The brows are refined to ensure balance, colour depth, and definition.

Benefits

Natural yet defined – Combines the best of microblading and shading for a soft but enhanced finish.

Customisable – Can be adjusted to look subtle and natural or more bold and filled-in depending on your preference.

Suitable for most skin types – Unlike microblading alone, this technique works better on oily, textured, or mature skin.

Time-saving – Cuts down your daily makeup routine by eliminating the need to fill in brows.

Long-lasting results – Typically lasts 1–3 years with touch-ups.

Aftercare

To maintain your perfect shape and reduce the risk of irritation:

  • Keep brows dry – avoid getting them wet in the shower, pool, or while washing your face.

  • Do not touch, scratch, or pick the area – flaking and scabbing are normal.

  • Avoid sweating, saunas, and direct sun exposure.

  • Apply only the recommended healing ointment if advised by your artist.
